Korean fashion, currently the most popular trend in the world

Previously, Korea took the lead in having the most popular fashion trend and will likely hold that advantage for a long time.

Before Korea took the lead, the most popular fashion trend in Asia was Japan. But it looks like Japan has lost its title to Korea in recent years.

So what has Korea introduced to the world that made it such a successful fashion trendsetter? There are a number of possible reasons that led to its success that I will discuss in the next few paragraphs.

First, the former Asian fashion trends leader has introduced, if not improved, some of the trendiest women's tops and dresses for quite some time. It's natural for them to run out of ideas after taking such a long lead. Therefore, Korea took this opportunity to take Japan's leadership away after its fashion creativity has been exhausted.

Second, it could be due to the rise in popularity of Korean pop groups that has led to their success in fashion. As everyone will know, popular pop groups generally set the latest trend as they are the front line of the entertainment scene and would have to dress uniquely to identify themselves. You've probably heard a lot about the latest Korean pop groups like Big Bang, Super Junior, and Girl's Generation (SNSD). All these pop groups are now the most talked about in the entertainment world. And since they are such hot topics, it is no wonder that people want to imitate their idols and therefore dress similarly to their idols. I think this is the most crucial point that led Korea to overcome the latest Asian trend.

As a fashion consultant, I generally advise my clients to take a closer look at fashion in Asia. Clothing in Asia is more visually appealing and the range of clothing is almost limitless. I love how Asians express their creativity through fashion. For customers who have doubted my advice, I would buy them a nice piece of the latest Korean Hanbok fashion. After wearing the clothes I bought for them, most of them would be amazed at how one item of clothing could get so much out of them.
