The growing need for clean drinking water has generated many water filtration solutions. One of the first companies to quickly capitalize on this need is Brita, who came up with the Brita jug and water filter combination. This product was an instant hit because it was inexpensive and easy to use. There were not too many options on the market at the time, and while other companies were busy planning their own ingenious water filtration systems to sell, Brita was already expanding its product line to include household water filters.
Founded in 1966, Brita has over 40 years of service and practice in the industry. Brita products are known to be profitable. The water tastes as good as bottled water, except for the occasional traces of chlorine. Although the water running through the tap is clear, there are documented complaints of a metallic taste that occurs after the water is filtered. There are also incidents of broken or missing parts, although retailers addressed these issues immediately. Replacements were shipped immediately.
Another small downside to Electric Pressure Cooker water filtration systems is that it takes a long time to complete. A liter and a half of water takes approximately 6 minutes. Therefore, if you filter by volume, this would take a long time. However, in this case, you can simply let the filter do its thing while doing other tasks.
Brita water filter systems come with replaceable cartridge filters that last up to four months. There's a built-in indicator that lets you track cartridge life and remind you when it's time to buy a new cartridge. This is incredibly inexpensive, as cartridges cost very little.
