Why become a data scientist?

Why did you score less on an exam? The reasons can be many; he was not well, he did not have notes, he did not have enough time to review, he was distracted by other problems, etc. These are ideas and they come from the activity data you've recorded in your head. This is data science in its simplest form.

DATA SCIENCE AND ITS USES

Data science deals with large amounts of data. It is collected from various internal and external sources, such as activity, preferences, audio, videos, texts and images, etc. it is not structured and it is raw. You have to go through it and find meaningful ideas that help in decision-making and predict the future needs of the industry or business.
Therefore, there is no doubt that data science is of great use in various industries such as technology, medicine, entertainment, retail and wholesale, finance, manufacturing, etc. There are several applications of data science in these industries such as:

Creation and optimization of search engines, to make them faster and more efficient.
Creation of algorithms for voice recognition, which allows a customer to give orders without physical mobility.
Face and image recognition software used on social media platforms and even mobile phones for security purposes.
Creating better recommendation algorithms for various websites and mobile apps, which tracks your preferences and references in the same way.
Providing better gaming experiences.
Used to detect credit risk and to prevent fraud and theft.
DATA SCIENTISTS AND THEIR ROLE
Those responsible for analyzing data and finding strategic solutions for a company must have a set of skills as a mathematician, statistician, analyst, and computer programmer. They must have the insight for business communication and leadership also because data scientists must also be able to understand the insights from the data and use it productively.

Activities carried out by data scientists:

Do research and ask questions.
Collect data.
Store and group data.
Clean and scrub data.
Analyze and explore the data.
Create algorithms using inferences and objectives.
Explain the results.
Recommend strategic and functional changes. Mahdi Mamouri
HOW TO BE A DATA SCIENTIST?
The first and main requirement is curiosity and curiosity to ask questions that were never asked, to look for problems and their solutions. Apart from that, several technical and academic aspects must also be covered:

Maths.
Statistics.
Software skills like algorithms and data structures.
Data processing
Data cleaning
Data reporting techniques.
Python, R, SAS languages.
SQL, C / C ++, Java databases
Data is clouded as with Amazon S3.
Platforms like Hadoop, Apache Flink, Apache Spark, etc.
You must also have business skills, such as effective communication, problem solving, analytical data analysis, industry knowledge.
There are several options in the field of data science, such as engineer, architect, platform developer (Apache developer). Companies of all sizes are venturing into data science, so one thing is definitive: the demand for such scientists will remain high.
