Everyone loves the cornhole. It's hard to find a place that sells everything cornhole related. There is a way to make a cornhole board at home. All it takes is being good with your hands and being comfortable chopping wood. Of course, you will need the proper safety equipment, such as goggles and gloves. You're going to want a large 1/2 inch sheet of plywood for build quality. Also, you don't want those bags to bounce off your boards. You will also need wood screws, four 8-foot bolts, a table saw, jigsaw, drill, and sandpaper. You will also need a workspace.

With the help of a clamp or a friend screw the frames. Then slide the top of the cornhole board over the frames. Line up the edges and wood screws of the sink through the top on the frames. Use a ruler to measure and mark 12 inches from each edge of the boards and 9 inches down from the top. This is the center of the cornhole. Use a compass to trace a 6-inch diameter circle around the center point. Use a large diameter drill bit to mark a start hole at the edge of the circle and carefully cut the hole with the jigsaw.
Slide the 16-inch pieces into the bottom of the cornhole boards at the joints at the top. With the help of a friend, move your legs until the back edge of the board is 12 inches off the ground. Carefully screw the legs into place and make sure the bottom of the legs are flush with the floor for added stability. Sand the entire project starting with coarse-grained paper and working toward a finer grain. Paint and lacquer the boards as you see fit or leave them bare for a natural look.
