Kyani - The company

Kyani's story has its roots in the Alaskan tundra. Inuit Eskimos don't have words in their vocabulary for ailments like cancer, diabetes and heart disease. They are among the healthiest people on the planet, primarily due to their diet, which is rich in wild Alaskan blueberries and sockeye salmon. Intrigued by this, Dr. Maureen Mckenzie, a biochemist, traveled to Alaska and spent 10 years studying these foods.

Blueberries have incredible antioxidant properties, and wild Alaskan blueberries in particular have 10-20 times the nutritional value of locally grown blueberries. This is due to the harsh environmental conditions of their growing environment. Sockeye salmon grows in the crystal clear waters of Alaska. Salmon is a powerful source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are lacking in the diet of most people. Compared to other salmon, sockeye does not eat any other fish. He is a vegetarian, which means they have NO traces of mercury in their bodies.
The spark that eventually became Kyani was due to Dr. Mckenzie's meeting with Dick and Gayle Powell. The Powells are very successful business people, being the original founders of Mrs. Powell's Inc, a chain of cinnamon pastry shops. It was due to his vision of wanting to spread the incredible healing and preventive potential of these two foods that they became the backbone of Kyani Inc.

The rest of the Kyani puzzle was joined with the addition of financial backing and support from Kirk Hansen and Carl Taylor. The Hansens have an oil business with annual sales of more than $ 650 million. Taylors are known for their Idaho potatoes that you probably have eaten. They earn approximately $ 500 million each year. Both people have been incredibly successful in their businesses, and they also brought the same level of commitment to make Kyani a success. Michael Breshears, completed the group as the CEO of the company. Breshears was involved in many executive and marketing roles in his 30 years of business and network marketing career. Under his guidance, the company developed a real and solid foundation on which to build. Once Breshear joined the team, Kyani really started to take off.

With a strong corporate team in place, the founders had to decide on a distribution platform for Kyani products. Kyani could easily have ended up on the shelves alongside other health products at her local store. Kyani's products would likely have been mixed or disappeared from the public eye. Kyani would have been one of those companies that could have been but never were. Fortunately this did not happen. Instead of the regular distribution route, network marketing was chosen.

The network marketing platform enables Kyani to be a true source of success. With products that have garnered a lot of scientific research as well as personal testimonials, distributors can go out and share Kyani without having to worry about the legitimacy of the products or the company. The compensation plan is another layer of Kyani's success, ultimately giving people the opportunity to earn the freedom and additional income that many of us desire.
